Veronica Raine and Fairweather Friends

Veronica Raine is a Southern Alberta singer-songwriter with a knack for turning messy feelings and small moments into songs. Her music lives somewhere between indie folk, ’90s nostalgia, and late-night reflection.

It’s been a busy year for Raine. Her debut single “August” recently celebrated its one-year anniversary, passing 5,000 streams and earning radio play from CBC, SiriusXM, and stations around the world. She followed it with “Moonlight” in March, and this summer brought her music even farther from home, with performances at the Winnipeg Folk Festival and a run of shows in Whitehorse.

With a new EP, Moon In Pisces, arriving later this year, Raine is stepping into a new chapter of her music—one full of heartbreak, growing pains, and a healthy amount of looking up at the moon.
