There are two aspects to establishing a relationship between the reader and writer: the first is external, meaning their connection beyond the manuscript via social media and events, the second is internal in that it defines the position of the reader relative to the writer within the book. Both involve making choices regarding point of view, language level, and tone. This workshop will cover how it works, best practices, and expectations.
