Event Name: Grownups Read Things They Wrote as Kids Toronto
Location: The Royal Cinema
What Is It: Travel back in time to remember the good, bad, and awkward parts of growing up. Grownups Read Things They Wrote as Kids is a live, open-mic storytelling event where courageous adults share their childhood and teenage writing on stage. This event will feature a mix of 2018 The Word On The Street authors and other readers.
Accessibility: The Royal has 5 accessible sections which you can reserve when completing the form to purchase tickets. One of the accessible seating areas has space for two mobility devices and a small section behind for the party to join. The other three are for single mobile devices with 2-3 seats beside them. Please note that the Royal does not have accessible washrooms.

In this iteration, the collection features creative non-fiction from Toronto’s emerging literary talents as part of the Toronto Lit Up book launch series.
