Canadian Reading Rocks!

Come listen to some beloved Canadian children's books read by local guest readers, presented by the Department of Canadian Heritage! Located on the Market Piazza, it will also feature music from popular children's entertainer Erick Traplin, performances from IMPACT theatre, and a full line-up of activities focused on kids and reading!

The Business of Writing: Stories and Strategies for Personal Success

Presented in partnership with the Waterloo Region Small Business Centre, this educational panel will discuss writing with those working in its many different fields and formats. From strategies to lessons learned, it aims to highlight the many shapes of success and how to find fulfillment as a writer.
