The Word On The Street’s Book Club discussion of The Indifference League continues!Check out part one and part two of the conversation.
This week, book club leader Dave has a few questions based on Chapters 12 – 20. Feel free to use these as a jumping-off point for any other thoughts or questions you may have too.
- As the book progresses everyone seems to be losing patience with the whole Indifference League concept. What are your thoughts are on that? How long can something like the Indifference League really be sustained for?
- We are slowly learning characters real names by this point in the novel. What significance does learning the secret identities of the Indifference League have? What, if anything, do you take away from the meaning of their actual names?
- At the end of chapter 19 Mr. Nice Guy is getting the night’s bonfire prepared only to have it begin to rain. I find that this scene is indicative of the way the whole weekend is going for Mr. Nice Guy. Do you agree? Why or why not?
