2015 Governor General’s Literary Awards Finalists Announced

The shortlisted authors for the Governor General’s Literary Awards were announced yesterday by the Canada Council for the Arts. Each year, the Council awards prizes to authors in 7 English Language categories (Fiction, Non-fiction, Poetry, Drama, French-to-English translation, Children’s Text, and Children’s Illustration) with each winner receiving $25,000. The winners will be revealed on October 28, 2015.

We want to extend our deepest congratulations to all the GG nominees, and are especially proud to have featured books in 4/7 English Language categories at this year’s festival!
