A retired teacher, Shirley loves children and although known in the past for her series of Best Selling cookbooks specializing in gluten-free and allergy-friendly recipes, she is now enjoying venturing into the world of children’s literature. Her first project Grounded which took several years to research and write is now followed by her latest book entitled Different But The Same. This is Shirley’s first children’s picture book.
Shirley is a member of Dovetale Writers, a local group who meet regularly and have produced three anthologies.
