The Indifference League: Section 4: Chapter 20 – 26

September 3, 2014

The Indifference League cover

Labour Day is in the past, summer is coming to an end, and so is The Word On The Street’s Book Club discussion of  The Indifference League!

This week, book club leader Dave has a few last questions based on Chapters 20 – 26. Feel free to use these as a jumping-off point for any other thoughts or questions you may have too.

Thanks to all who’ve read along and shared their thoughts on the book!

Richard Scarsbrook reads at the New Narratives Tent at 3:45 PM on Sunday, September 21st.

1) In chapter 21 the Statistician loses at monopoly for the first time in 18 games. What is the significance of this? Does it make a difference that he threw the game in the end?

2) The title of chapter 24 is Kryptonite, which begs the question: What is the Indifference League’s Kryptonite?

3) Now that the book is over, how do you feel about the way things ended for the League? Was the dissolution inevitable?
