Labour Day is in the past, summer is coming to an end, and so is The Word On The Street’s Book Club discussion of Us Conductors!
This week, book club leader Sara has a few last questions based on page 268-347. Feel free to use these as a jumping-off point for any other thoughts or questions you may have too.
Thanks to all who’ve read along and shared their thoughts on the book!
Sean Michael reads at the Amazon.ca Bestsellers Stage at 12:00 PM, and the New Narratives Tent at 4:45 PM on Sunday, September 21st. He’ll be accompanied by thereminist Clara Venice.
Discuss the role of the setting in the development of the story. Russia and America are obviously quite different, but do you also see any similarities?
What do you think of the title? Now that you have finished the book, do you think that Leon is a conductor, or is he conducted by others?
Would you recommend this book to others? Why or why not?
