Losing The Signal by Sean Silcoff and Jacquie McNish
Some people read it for closure. Some people read it to gain insights into what went wrong. I read it because I lived it, man. It was awesome to read about events that happened – a few of which I was lucky enough to be in the room for.
Leave Your Mark by Aliza Licht
If you love fashion and Twitter, then you probably followed DKNY PR Girl. In her debut book, the woman behind the account, Aliza Licht, breaks down how she left medical school to pursue her dream of a career in fashion. It’s a great read – no matter what career you’re interested in. Frankly, the fact they don’t teach this stuff in high school is scary. Who doesn’t know how to write a cover letter?
From Bad to Cursed by Katie Alender
It’s “Mean Girls” meets “The Craft” – the second book in the “Bad Girls Don’t Die” series has all the possessed books and teen angst you can handle. Written by my friend Katie Alender, “From Bad to Cursed” follows sisters Alexis and Kasey as they’re tempted with supernatural popularity from a demon in a book.
