After careful deliberation, the Board of The Word on the Street Festival Saskatoon has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2024 event. Due unforeseen circumstances, we plan to use the current year to address logistical and organizational challenges to better serve our community.
We’d like to thank our funding agencies: SKArts; Canada Council; Canada Book Fund; City of Saskatoon and Sask Lotteries for their generous support. As well, we thank our partners: CFCR; Global Saskatoon, Rawlco Radio; Sask Media Group; Access Copyright Foundation; Planet S; SDHHS (Saskatchewan Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services}, and the Broadway Improvement District. All of these organizations have been critical to the festivals of our past seasons.
Lastly, we are profoundly grateful to our writers, volunteers, and audiences. Without your enthusiasm, contributions, and phenomenal encouragement, The Word on the Street Festival Saskatoon, would simply not be possible.
