She grew up on a third-generation farm in New Brunswick, is an ECMA nominated musician with five albums of original work to her credit and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mount Allison University and a law degree from Dalhousie Law School. The Nova Scotia House of Assembly formally recognized Linda in 2012 for inspiring recording work and positivity as an artist.
