Leading up to the big day, there\u2019s another great way to get involved and support the festival!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>For $100, participants in the Friend An Author program receive<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The chance to &#8220;friend&#8221; an author of your choice from the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/thewordonthestreet.ca\/toronto\/support-us\/friend-an-author\/\">list of available authors<\/a><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #993300;\">A copy of the book\u00a0with the opportunity to have it signed by the author at the festival after their reading<\/span>!<\/li>\n<li>Recognition for your contribution at the festival.
