\nWhat Is It: <\/b>In her book Uncommitted Crimes: The Defiance of the Artistic Imagi\/nation<\/i>, Tara Atluri pays tribute to a new generation of artists whose creative frames of reference derive from multiple national, religious and cultural identities, and who are deviating from the mainstream to create art that engages with questions of societal oppression, survival and resistance.

Five days of workshops, open mics, and showcases, with the goal of bringing together youth poets from all across this colonial nation. Throughout the festival, teams will compete to be crowned the Voices of Today 2018 Grand Slam Champions.

\nWhat Is It: <\/b>The Sick & Disabled Queer Youth Zine Fair is a youth-led zine and art fair (including performances!) happening for the very first time this year in conjunction with the Bricks & Glitter Festival. This fair was dreamt up as a community space in which to gather and celebrate the work of queer youth artists with various experiences of disability and chronic illness.
\n<\/b>Accessibility:<\/b> The venue is wheelchair accessible and has multi-stall restrooms with wheelchair accessible stalls. There will be conversational ASL interpretation available throughout the event. Scent-free strongly encouraged.
