- About Us
Even more than books and magazines, The Word On The Street Toronto’s greatest passion is to connect with the community. Through a number of innovative programs, we are reaching out to encourage people to speak out, speak up, and support literacy. Read below for more details.
We’re making an early appearance this year with a special pop-up stage at the Dundas West Fest on June 3! Get your literary fix with seven hours of exciting The Word On The Street readings, panels, and performances featuring local publishers and authors. We have events that are fun for the whole family!
We’re also teaming up with local organizations, including Luso Vox and Common Readings, to highlight the treasures from one of Toronto’s most vibrant communities.
Dundas West Fest will be taking place on Saturday, June 3rd between Ossington and Lansdowne along Dundas St. West. The Word On The Street Pop-Up will be situated in the Dundas St. Clarens Parkette just east of Lansdowne, so we’re really easy to find!
Check back as we continue to share our line-up and schedule.
