Actor and producer Matt Drappel will give a fun, interactive presentation explaining different ways people read: by book, magazine or newspaper; tablet or phone; headphones or speakers; Braille. The presentation will illustrate and engage the audience in the various methods of reading and why certain methods work best for some, but not for others.
The audience will participate in demonstrations including audio-book recording and Braille printing; children in the audience will have the opportunity to have their names printed on cards in Braille, will have the chance to record using PAL’s audiobook-specific software, and then hear themselves on replay.
